Annapurneswari Layout

Annapurneswari Layout is a small residential suburb located in the eastern part of Bangalore city. The area is well planned with several parks and open spaces. It is close to the Bangalore City railway station. It is also known as ‘Sarjapur Road’. Sarjapur Road is one of the oldest and busiest roads of Bangalore. It was laid out by Kempegowda in the late 19th century. The road is named after the erstwhile ruler of Mysore, who was known as ‘Sarjapura Rama’.
