Agram-Domlur is a new town in Karnataka State, India. It is situated at the bank of Tunga River. The name of the town is a combination of two names: Agra and Domlur. Agra is the capital of Uttar Pradesh and Domlur is the headquarters of Karnataka State. The city is well connected with various important cities of India such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata. The main reason for choosing this place is that there are various industries in this area which helps the people to earn a good income. The state government has established various educational and research institutions. The total population of the city is around 10 lakhs. It is situated at an elevation of 652 meters above the sea level. There are three different types of climate in this area. The summer season starts from April to June and it lasts for 2 months.
